When considering a fractional program the first question to ask is "how much time do I get the boat?" We have participated in several programs and have the experience to know firsthand what works and what doesn't.

Most programs offer half-day "slots," which leave you rushing to start the morning sail and rushing back to port. Our program gives you full days so you'll never have the hassle of hurrying back to the harbor and shooing guests off the boat so the next member can board. And if you want an extra hour of sleep, no problem - you have the boat all day! You will have flexible scheduling and have one or two days per week and one or more full weekends during the season. Multi-day trips are possible. Use "free" days anytime it is not being used by one of the other members. Have a special day or planning an out-of-town guest? Reserve ahead or trade dates with other members. You will enjoy 31st Street Harbor with indoor parking and gated secure, convenient walk-on dock.

You will get one to two sails per week... or more!

We have flexible scheduling and members will have one or more 2-3 day weekends during the season. Multi-day trips are possible. And best of all, the yacht will be available for free use anytime it is not being used by one of the other members. Have a special day or planning for an out-of-town guest? Check the online calendar and reserve ahead or trade dates with another member.

For a very reasonable fee, you can sail "Urban Legend," a 37.5' Hunter Legend, newly refitted and very nicely equipped. She provides a perfect mix of speed and comfort, resulting in a vessel that is highly flexible, whether your goal is performance during a regatta or entertaining clients and guests in comfort. The cost may be entirely tax-deductible.

Completed in 2012, 31st Street Harbor provides an exceptional experience. All slips include electric, water, and complimentary Internet Access. The harbor's sustainable, eco-friendly design is unrivaled in the industry, and it boasts the ISS Fabian Cousteau Blue Award. Bathrooms are clean, have showers and laundry facilities.

What this is not

We do not offer daily or short-term yacht rentals. The program — limited to five shares — allows an exclusive small group to share private access to the same yacht for an entire sailing season. Members get to know the boat and each other.
